These are the terms for saving a founding price on kepta.ch. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, email finn@kepta.ch and ask — a plain answer costs nothing.
Kepta is an app that does not exist yet. This page holds a founding price for a medication-tracking app currently planned for October 2026. Nothing on this site is a finished product. The video is a working prototype, and the finished app will look different.
Kepta is an organisational tool, not a medical device, and not a source of medical advice. It is intended to help you keep track of medication you have already been prescribed. It does not diagnose, treat, or advise on any condition, it does not check for drug interactions, and it is not a substitute for your doctor or pharmacist. Never change, stop, or start a medication because of anything this app or this website shows you. If something about your medication worries you, speak to a healthcare professional.
You remain responsible for taking your medication correctly. A reminder can fail — a phone can be off, out of battery, or out of signal — and Kepta must never be the only thing standing between you and a dose that matters.
Kepta opens at the founding price. For 30 days after it opens, anyone can still join at that price. After those 30 days the price may change for new subscribers.
Whatever price you joined at inside that window stays yours for as long as your subscription runs without interruption. It does not go up. If you cancel and come back later, it will be at whatever the price is then.
The signup page calls this your price being locked for life, and that is exactly what is meant by it: there is no expiry on it and no review of it, and no price rise we ever announce will apply to you. The one thing that ends it is cancelling — a founding price is attached to a subscription that keeps running, not to a person forever. We would rather say that here plainly than let "for life" carry a meaning we cannot honour.
If you signed up here before launch, your price is held for you and you are inside the window automatically.
How that actually works, plainly: the price you subscribe at is the price you keep. The App Store leaves existing subscribers on the price they joined at when a price later goes up. So there is nothing to redeem, no code to enter and nothing tied to the email address you gave us — you subscribe inside the window, and the price stays with you for as long as the subscription runs.
Kepta is planned as an app you download, so the subscription will most likely be handled by the app store. Nothing about that changes what was promised here:
The first 100 people to sign up get Kepta before it is public. Your confirmation email tells you whether you were one of them.
An early build is provided as it is, and you should treat it that way. It may crash, behave oddly, or lose data you have entered, and a feature may work one week and not the next. Most importantly: a test build must not be the only thing you rely on to take your medication. Keep whatever you use today — the pill box, the list, the alarm — running alongside it. You can leave the test at any time, and nothing is owed either way.
Answering them is entirely optional and every single question can be skipped. Your founding price is saved the moment you give your email address, before the questions appear, and it is never taken away for leaving them blank.
The answers are used to decide what gets built and what it should cost. They are never sold, and never shared with anyone in a form that could identify you.
One thing we do share, and it is deliberate: once enough people have answered, we email everyone who signed up a summary of what the answers say — how many people struggle with what, and what people said they would pay. That is a promise made on the signup page, and it is the reason the questions are worth answering. It is always aggregate: counts and percentages, never a list, never an email address.
Something you typed in one of the free-text boxes may be quoted in that summary, anonymously and without anything that could point back to you. If you would rather nothing you wrote were quoted at all, say so at finn@kepta.ch and it will not be — no reason needed, and your answers still count in the totals.
This is a real possibility and we would rather say so plainly. If the test does not go well, or the app is not built, we will email everyone who signed up to tell you, and delete your address and your answers within 14 days of that email. Nothing was ever taken from you, so there is nothing to refund and nothing you have to do.
You must be at least 18 years old.
You can leave at any time, for any reason, without giving one and without cost. Every email carries a link, and one click on it is the whole process — it deletes your address and your answers on the spot, releases the founding price, and sends you an email confirming it is done.
That is deliberately the only route, because it is the one that cannot be missed or forgotten. If it ever fails, email finn@kepta.ch and it will be done by hand the same day.
Leaving releases the founding price being held for you. If you sign up again later it will be at whatever the price is then.
One confirmation immediately, so you have a record and a way to leave. One with the results — once enough people have answered, a short honest summary of what everyone said, because you helped produce it and it is yours to see. One when the app is ready. One before any trial or charge begins. If the project stops, one telling you that. If these terms change in a way that affects what you were promised, one before it takes effect.
Nothing else. No newsletter, no tips, no countdown, and no marketing from anyone else — your address is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising. Every email carries a one-click link that removes you completely.
This site is provided as it is, while a product is being built. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using this website or from the app being delayed or not released. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and nothing here affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
If these terms change in any way that affects what you were promised — the price, the trial, or when you get charged — we will email you before it takes effect. Anyone who signed up keeps the terms they signed up under.

These terms were written carefully to describe exactly what this test does, but they are not legal advice and have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. That review happens before Kepta charges anyone. If you spot something that reads unfairly, tell us and we will fix it.
